LYTHERAIX offers guided routes tailored to varying experience levels. Our Standard Summit Route is suitable for physically active beginners with good endurance, while our Advanced Alpine Route requires prior high-altitude hiking experience. Each tour includes pre-hike briefings, conditioning guidance, and route recommendations to ensure safety and enjoyment.
Every package includes certified mountain guides, safety equipment checks, route planning, accommodation coordination in mountain refuges, and transportation from Litochoro base camp. Premium packages also include photography coverage, gourmet trail meals, and private small-group guidance.
Our Classic Summit Experience spans 2 days with an overnight stay at Spilios Agapitos Refuge. Extended 3-day cultural hikes are also available, allowing time to explore hidden trails, alpine meadows, and mythological landmarks while maintaining a comfortable pace.
Safety is our highest priority. All guides are certified by the Hellenic Federation of Mountaineering & Climbing. We conduct weather monitoring, maintain small group ratios (max 6 hikers per guide), carry first-aid kits, satellite communication devices, and perform route risk assessments before every ascent.
The prime hiking season runs from May through October. Summer offers stable weather and vibrant alpine landscapes, while late spring and early autumn provide cooler temperatures and fewer crowds. Winter alpine expeditions are available only for experienced climbers.
Reservations can be completed securely through our online booking portal or via direct consultation with our expedition coordinators. A 30% deposit secures your spot. Free cancellations are available up to 14 days before departure; flexible rescheduling options are offered in case of severe weather conditions.
